My smart cover doesn't align properly...

I am having problems with my smart cover.  It is not a year old yet and already it doesn't aligh up properly with my ipad and it shuts off and turns on my itself.  Does this mean I have to buy a new one?

hmm, that is strange. I've had mine for 5 months and it still works fine. Wouldn't hurt to take the unit in to apple and have them look.
